IMPORTANT: To protect our community from spammer registrations, new members must be approved by the site administration

Approval is done manually, by volunteer effort, and can take up to a week. If you're really in a hurry, send us an email at the address in the sidebar and tell us why you think we should get to work on the new member backlog queue!

WHY REGISTER?

Your SBP membership lets you pick your own sidebars and participate in spam-free messaging, running your own personal SBP blog, and joining our live chat. Membership also lets you read up on who's here and search for like-minded Peninsulars.

YOU MUST TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF!

it's only fair. Your profile page tells other Peninsulars about you when you post or comment. Your profile page gives us all some context to what you say and it also tells us you are a legitimate community member, someone who will participate and bring a positive contribution to the the blogs and forums of our site. Anonymous numbered email accounts are highly suspicious, all the more so when there are no other personal details.

The operators of the SBP reserve the right to suspend, deny, edit or revoke any membership or posting without cause, warning or reason.

EMPTY PROFILES AND PROFILES CONTAINING SPAM LINKS WILL BE PROMPTLY DELETED

Your privacy is important to us. We will not share your Personal profile information with anyone outside of the site membership and we won't ask for any personal details unless we tell you why; be aware that while our privacy policy has good intentions, we can't speak for our members and there's always the chance someone inside will leak your data, so as with everything online, use your head. Be information-highway street-smart!
