The countdown is on...and here we go..get ready, get out your brews, or your tea or even your vinyl record collection(ahem pay attention Lisa) because in just a few short days, it will be the fifth anniversary of this "lil" blog that grew. Brought on as an idea, as the new voice of SBP, with a lot of hard work and extra (unpaid) time by Gary, and May, to try and bring us together as a community and post our thoughts, photos, lives, and trials and tribulations.
Its been a long process, and sometimes it has meandered out of the way, but very rare has anyone been censored or banned, and it remains an open forum to all.I give credit to Gary and May for this, its like a large family, we all have our own ideas, but deep down we mostly want what we believe is best for us all.

I'd always wondered if we'd use a ride-board in this community; I've seen websites with posts in other rural areas, there's an elaborate ride-share website in New York City, and the post-board up in Dyer's Bay even helps to coordinate people with vehicles and people in need of affordable transport. Now I find out there's not only a secret Sauble rides-board, but it's been happily ferrying folks for over 7 years ...

With all our differences, opinions etc. could we please all come together and say a prayer for the Miller family after the tragic accident. Our own concerns seem so trivial compared to what they must be going through.
