A thank-you note CC'd to us from the Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicle Clubs thanks their Sauble hosts for a wonderful time on their 5th Annual General Meeting, and they tell us "Sauble Beach is 2nd to none when it comes to making visitors feel welcome!"

The Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicle Clubs (OFATV) was given the red carpet treatment from the local councillor 'Mark Wunderlich', the folks at 'Sauble Speedway', local businesses and the local residents themselves! Sauble Beach proved to be second to NONE when it comes to community involvement and making visitors feel welcomed.

Sue Rosenburg, a local resident of Sauble Beach and Vice President of the OFATV arranged to have the local OFATV Club 'South Bruce Peninsula ATV Club', host our 5th Annual General Meeting on June 19th at the community centre. This was followed by an afternoon of events at the Sauble Speedway that included an ATV Product Display and the drawing of the 1st annual Provincial Raffle.

Two Sauble Speedway officials and 12 racecar drivers paraded onto the track and one by one choose the winners of over $21,000 in prizes including two Suzuki ATV's and a Triton Trailer.

We at the OFATV would like to express our sincere thank you to everyone at Sauble Beach including all of the volunteers from the South Bruce Peninsula ATV Club for making this event such a success and planning the Presidents ride on Sunday which was the perfect finishing touch.
