congrats Irv

congratulation to Irv Quan for becoming the new chief of the sbp fire department..without going into any this and that..just a straight out congratulations to Irv.We all know Irv as the previous owner of the Horn, and his father before that when they took over the old Paul Mar steak house.Ive known him for awhile and we have friends in fire departments in common..a hard working fella with a daunting task..cheers
addendum...insert *interim* here..wouldnt want anyones knickers in a knot

New Chief

Here we go again. More misinformation which will lead to anger. Irv is NOT the new chief. He is ACTING chief until a new chief is hired. He can apply if he has all the qualifications once the council and CAO have worked out the specific skills and qualities that they deem necessary but he is not assured of the job. Start out with the correct facts then no one should get upset.

good golly..maybe it was the late night..maybe it was the wine women and song..I dunno..but I swear i never saw *interim* on it when i first saw it..now that link has it..I coulda been wrong(im told that all the time lol) thanks for the heads up...err down? Hockey..but *IRREGARDLESS* hehe<--old pun about an old post.., congrats to Irv for being Interim.
Maybe Ill shave my head for charity....only if Gary agrees too!
