One of our regular contributors is highlighted in the latest Wiarton Echo. We may all disagree on many things but I have to take my hat off to his/her work in helping make SBP a better place.

Over the past 55 years of the annual running of the Wiarton Shore to Shore Road Race there have been six volunteer race directors who have kept it going.
They are Fred and Jean Gilbert, Beth Moore, Margo Morgan, and Patricia Symon, all of Wiarton, Hank Nuis, Stokes Bay and the Wiarton Rotary Club. All six will be honored for their dedication at a tribute shortly after the finish of the race on Civic Holiday, Monday, August 6 in the Upstairs Room of the Wiarton Arena.
