Looks like they beat me to it! It's very nice, you can grab the controls and steer it around, pan and zoom and the image quality is very good. It's just like being right there, a stake-out on the Lakeshore ...

Which means it's technically illegal ;) ... not that I expect anyone will notice (or care) but the law in this country says you are not allowed to publically broadcast anyone's "identifiable image" without first obtaining a signed release, which is why most webcams are mounted high and panoramic, whereas with this little gizmo, we can zoom right in and stalk anyone we like, from the 6th changerooms practically out to the Crowd Inn!

But I'm sure they knew all that.

Nonetheless, for any of you who maybe be thinking of hanging out on the beach with your clandestine lover, just be forewarned your spouse may be watching :) Who knows, considering the fun people have discovering comets on SOHO, this thing could well spawn a whole new extortion industry! :)

if it gets too many visitors it won't be any fun since the controls are, obviously, only controlled by one visitor at a time. you may have to wait to get your turn .. and you know what i think of virtual drive-thrus :) it is pretty cool though.
