As I read these recent blogs and the area newspapers, I realise that the shadow council and its minions have been quite silent. We can only hope silenced for good, but that would be too good to be true! Could the sorry losers really be going to leave the Mayor and current council alone,so that they can move us forward and make positive changes in this town. I hope so!!

According to the Sun Times, this council is planning on taking relationship building seminars which are important to have in place, so that they can ALL work together to build a viable, positive plan for our town. Will the shadow cabinet let this happen or will they try to throw a wrench into the works through negative inuendos or smearing or the like. Will council let it happen???

Last night's " Cops for Cancer" event shows how working TOGETHER in a positive direction can pay off. All the volunteers + the Mayor and Councillor Vukovic aided by Councillors King and Lamont and Fire Chief Terry Hutchinson earned positive recognition for this town and significant monetary gain for cancer research. Isn't this what we expect and appreciate. I wonder what the shadow cabinet's thoughts are. Do they have any future negativity planned?? I hope not but we'll have to wait and see.
