I noted at the most recent package from Town Council, that Ms Walden from Oliphant sent an email to the town asking about the proposed changes to Shoreline Ave. She's concerned about the Fen. The Ontario Field Naturalists have put alot of work into this Fen and as far as I'm concerned it is sacred ground now. Anyone else concerned about this? Council have asked Staff to respond to this lady saying that they have had engineers design the road and to the minimum standards for roads in the municipality.
What is really going to happen on this road?
What is the effect it is going to have on the Fen?
Do we protect our wetlands or do we straighten out the road so cars can go faster?
And as far as the minimum standard of roads......have you seen Sunset Drive?
