wings!

I know a lot of places have successful events like ribfests and chili cookoffs..perhaps we could do the same with wings..on the beach a wing cookoff!..for a trophy..people coming..enjoying gary and may on music..and trying different wing recipes.(I have to admit my secret recipe with wings is chinese style..done in a wok first then sauced in an oven for a short while) hey..its just and idea..what do you think.By the way..from what i have seen..the first buffalo style wings were from china :)

Sammy Seagull Shudders at the Thought
Mind you, I keep seeing the Twins popping up at various events over the winter, but y'know, I haven't seen foot nor feather of dear Sammy in a long while ...
An event I heard about some years ago as having a national championships down in New England but seemed really apropos for early-season Sauble kick-offs: Seagull Calling Competitions. Apparently, you draw a 15 foot circle, dress up like garbage and do whatever you can to attract more of the beasties to your circle than anyone else's. I think it would be a hoot!
