Positively Negative, Negatively Obtuse
It seems that a foot never stops
till it hits the molars, too bad it never made it to the wisdom teeth. When I read this little tidbit, I thought maybe I had /misread/ it.But..no..a deep sigh..a lean back in the chair..a glimpse out the window, and then a thought of maybe it was a faux pas, but no..it was intentional, it was crude, and it is what we have.
First there was the good buddies, then there was the restrictions , then there was the banning , and then there was the lack decorum . Now, its an attack on the choice of the people, and an attack on fellow members, and if he doesn’t like your opinions , then you are negative!
A little bit of leadership is expressed in not only what we say, but /how we say it/ a good example is this little gem:
“My personal feeling is still one of humility,†Kraemer said. “It’s a real humbling experience to have the ability to once again represent our county. I find that such an honour and such a privilege.â€Now that is class..
But alas, this is what we get,
Quoted from Wiarton Echo:
"Mayor Carl Noble on remarks he made in the media that the present council was one of the worst he had ever sat on……….
Noble also accused councillors of protecting “your own bailiwick,†stating that too many councillors are sticking behind the ward system….."
( I hope they were protecting their own Bailiwick that is what they were elected to do, unless Carl meant Bailiwick I hear they have openings.
And so it goes..the neverending story. I guide you once again, to a small town, not unlike ours, which you can read about here or visit here . I also will again quote the town of Fairfield ‘s values:
Harmony and Respect • Economic Strength and Vitality • Education • Preservation of Small Town Life • Cultural Richness, Arts, and Recreation • Natural Environment • Beautification • Identity and Reputation
Also how a real leader communicates, read here.
I think we may have something with more gaseous material than cow power.
All we ask for is a little civility, leadership, and honour.I don’t think that is to much to ask for, do you?
