Amabel-Sauble Childcare Centre held its AGM this evening. After the financial report by the appointed accountant, and the handling of all the businesses in the agenda, a new board of directors was elected. For the coming year, there will be 12 members on the board with positions being filled as followed:-

Vice-president - Leanne West
Treasurer - Karen Kuan
Secretary - Kelly Galan
Finance committee chair - Karen Kuan
Building committee chair - Lorie Byers
Programme committee chair - Joan Colley
Personnel committee chair - Dawn-Lee McKenzie
Fundraising committee chair - Leanne West
Nominating committee chair - Kelly Galan
Playground committee chair - Roberta Brignell

The board helds its monthly meeting at 7:15pm on the last Wednesday of the month, except in July and August. The meetings are open to public. In fact, community members and parents using the daycare are encouraged to participate in making Amabel-Sauble Childcare Centre a place of fun and growth for children in our community.
