Thanks to all who have helped with Asia flood relief,Through the out pour of money help love and prayer. I am proud to be an Oliphantonian.

I got a letter of interest to share with all. Most people dont know how these aid get organized,.so you can see it the same as I get it Because my town needs to care about there neighbours, this was my email today, It follows my offer of help yesterday as a nurse ready to help.

"Hello to All VIANurses

I want to thank you for your commitment to volunteering your services in
cases of emergency. I would like to remind you all at this time, to make
sure that you have indicated your willingness to be deployed for the
tsunami effort in your VIANurse profile if that is your wish to do so.
Some new VIANurses have saved their profile but have not indicated
"tsunami relief" but have sent me correspondence of the wish to assist in
this disaster.

You can update your VIANurse registration by logging into your VIANurse
account at the RNAO web site. The link w will take you to the VIANurse elief.

Currently the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care has asked RNAO to
compile this list if there is a need to deploy nurses to the devastated
regions of Asia. There has been no active call for deployment and no
suggestion of time-lines for deployment as of yet. I will keep you updated
as information comes in.

I would like to at this time, and on behalf of RNAO, convey my sincerest
gratitude to all of you that are willing to be available to help others in
crisis. This is clearly an indication of the professionalism and
humanitarianism of our profession.

Best Regards,
