The future is the past

Browsing through some articles sent to me by a ruthless local nanocorp, I came across a homepage of a small U.S. town, and was struck by its openness its vision and its clear view of fairness in planning.I encourage you to take a look at Fairfield.
CORNERSTONE VALUES

Harmony and Respect • Economic Strength and Vitality • Education • Preservation of Small Town Life • Cultural Richness, Arts, and Recreation • Natural Environment • Beautification • Identity and Reputation

Its amazing to see that not only they embrace technology, and open ideas..but in so doing..keep their small town life and values.

The Mayors word..

Its even nice to see the mayor write:
As we build on the great traditions of our community, we welcome one place where we can share the past, our present and the future.

A noble cause

and punfully in tendered words, but seriously, I have invited our local Representatives to join in the buzz here on the SBP, but so far the only real response I got wa that they were concerned that the name of this rag might "cause some confusion" so I just left it at that ...

and to them I say..

Sic vos animadverto , senium est vere secus nocens. May vos adeo teneo valetudo.

ok ... but ...

... I thought Cicero spoke Greek?
