What's Canada Day without fireworks!
This summer, Sauble Beach will once again host their fireworks display on the lakeshore between 2nd and 5th Street -- the fireworks will start at dusk (between 9:30 and 10pm) with a bandshell concert and all sorts of happenings on the main beach all through the day.
If there are fireworks at Colpoy's Bay in Wiarton this year, there's no mention in their calendar of events -- best to call the town office for information on that one.

And an amazing show it was, too
Kudos and praise to the Sauble Chamber and Firefighters and who ever else who pooled their talents and resources together to make it one of those perfect nights for fireworks on our amazing beach. The sky was clear and while it was a little cool for July, that minor annoyance was more than offset by the rising full moon and only just enough of a breeze off the lake to gently carry away the smoke.
It was awesome. Well done!
Wiarton Fireworks on July 3rd
I caught a rumour today that the Wiarton fireworks will happen on Saturday July 3rd, presumably down at Bluewater Park.
