The Annual General Meeting of Amabel-Sauble Child Care Centre was held on May 26, 2004. On behalf of the Centre, I would like to thank all parents and and community members who attended the meeting. Special thanks is extended to volunteers who served as board members in the term of 2003/2004. Resignations from 3 last year's members have been received and accepted. Barb Whittle, Joan Colley and Leanne West will be sadly missed. However, we wish them all the best in their future commitments in other volunteering projects.

Several committees have been set up under the Board to look after different aspects relating to the operation of the Centre. They are: Building (Lorri Byers), Fundraising (Susan Cousins), Finance (Karen Quan), Personnel (Dawn-Lee McKenzie), Programme (Marri Lynn Aiken), Nominating (Kelly Galan), Board Manual (Roberta Brignell)

Parents and community members are welcome to sit in the committees as advisory, although by joining the Board, you will become members of the committees and have the right to vote.

Being a board member only takes up about 1-and-a-half hour of your time each month. Our general meeting takes place in the evening of the last Wednesday of each month except in July and August.
