Despite the fact that more and more people are moving to the Beach each year, the student accommodation report for Amabel-Sauble Community School suggests that there will be a declined enrolment in the next 10 years. The argument being: most new residents are senior and they do not move here with young children. A very crucial chain effect has been neglected here. Seniors need services. As soon as the problem with water and sewage can be solved, we are going to witness changes in the economic infra-structure of the Beach in order to accommodate a variety of services. That results in opportunities for parents with young children who will have to, otherwise, remain in the big cities in order to feed their families.

Yes, senior do not move here with young children. However, young families do eventually end up here because of them.
