Uploading Images

There are several ways to upload images for your stories, it all depends on what you want to do. the usual way to upload an image is as an Image type of posting, and this will allow you to post a photo or drawing -- because we can't afford big bandwidth and storage (yet) we have to limit the number of photos per person (32) and the size (150k and 640×480) ... images 320×240 are preferred.

If you are doing a news story with several photos, you have a small problem: there's no way to upload the images to the Peninsular. We're working on that (it's on our very long list to TODO items) but in the meantime, if you can find some other website to host your images (your personal blog perhaps?) you can then use a link in your story to reference those external images.

In general, you link to any image by placing the URL between two exclamation marks; your image will then automatically float to the right side of the centre column beside your text.
