Same here, although I did see two swivel armchairs out curbside, but that was it.

My guess? Communications breakdown: those few who knew, just plumb forgot, and precious few even knew. There was no mention on the Sauble Chamber google calendar (only a note about last Monday's Terry Fox Run), nothing that I saw come up on the CFOS or Sun-Times newsfeeds; the only reason I knew about it was because I read about here thanks to the mirrored posting on The Crier; compare that to the repeated and crescendo chatter we hear vis a vis some other local event dates and I think there you have your missed opportunity.

Weather was perfect for it too.

Here's hoping some lessons learned will be applied to the Womble Night for 2009.
