What's Canada Day without fireworks!
This summer, Sauble Beach will once again host their fireworks display on the lakeshore between 2nd and 5th Street -- the fireworks will start at dusk (between 9:30 and 10pm) with a bandshell concert and all sorts of happenings on the main beach all through the day.
If there are fireworks at Colpoy's Bay in Wiarton this year, there's no mention in their calendar of events -- best to call the town office for information on that one.

Have you noticed the new stonework by the Sauble Gate? Have you stopped yet to sit in the parkette under our famous sign and admire the native flora garden while you take in the sunset?
Ever wonder how those little finishing touches got there in the first place?
Well this is your chance to find out how and who and why, and maybe even get involved yourself:
The Friends of the Beach invite you to their meet-up get-together on July 10th from 11am to 2pm in the Pavillion beside the Sauble Beach Information Booth (across from the waterslide) where they will present their Sauble Beach Management Plan and answer all your questions.
They'll even buy you lunch: A free drink and a hotdog to everyone who drops by!
