From May 5th to 8th, the Ontario Envirothon will take place on the northern Bruce Peninsula, an area renowned for its spectacular scenery, high natural diversity and unique cultural heritage. 21 teams of high school students from across Ontario will compete in Tobermory to become the Ontario Provincial Champions. The winning team will go on to compete at the Canon International Envirothon in West Virginia.

A non-profit organization, the Centre has a board of directors which help look after a wide scope of matters, from policy making to fund raising. Every Spring, Annual General Meeting is held. This year's meeting is on Wednesday May 26 at Greenhorn's Restaurant. See you there at 7:00pm We are always looking for parents and community members to join our board.

For those who don't already know, and especially for the cottagers planning a trek up this weekend, as a follow up to last March, the Concerned Citizens are holding a second public meeting on the issue of the municipal plans for the water and sewer project for Hepworth and Sauble Beach. The meeting will be held at the Hepworth Legion Hall on June 5th from 1pm to 3pm -- you can't miss it, it will be the location with more parked cars than a Civic Weekend on the Beach!
