The Envirothon is a hands-on environmental education program for high school students delivered at the regional, provincial, and international levels. It is an interactive educational experience delivered through field trips, resource materials and Olympic-style competitions.

From May 5th to 8th, the Ontario Envirothon will take place on the northern Bruce Peninsula, an area renowned for its spectacular scenery, high natural diversity and unique cultural heritage. 21 teams of high school students from across Ontario will compete in Tobermory to become the Ontario Provincial Champions. The winning team will go on to compete at the Canon International Envirothon in West Virginia.

The grade 8 students from Amabel Sauble Community School are holding a Car Wash, Bottle drive and barbecue at the firehall from 9AM till 3PM. Proceeds are going towards their June Ottawa trip. Please come out and support them.
