Keppel Henge

Listed in the astronomical Clear Sky Clock as "A solar-system observatory with unusually robust instruments." Kepple Henge is just what the name suggests ...

The idea for this project began early in 1998 when two friends, Steve Irvine and Bill Loney were trying to think of some way to mark the year 2000. Gradually, we (Steve and Bill) developed the idea of a large stone circle...

And it is robust. Located at the award winning Kepple Croft Farm and Gardens, the henge consists of 6 two-ton limestone markers with 7 smaller markers, each meticulously placed according to celestial events.
