Its located on Highway 21, on the former road known as the Gimby trail, named after the man who kept the road from Southampton to Owen Sound clear. While the once busy railway is long gone, Allenford still boasts some booming businesses, both old and new, and some renowned people. How about being a <a href="http://www.bobevans.ca/family/reunion/reunion.html"> site</a> for a 180th family reunion?
