Bruce Road 13

I was actually thinking of the Bruce Road 13 that runs between Spry Lake and Boat Lake, pretty much across from the Outdoor Education Centre, but that Mar route (Red Bay Road) up through Sky Lake looks promising too. Another option may be the Isaac Lake Road just two concessions south of the Red Bay Road off Highway #6; I've never been there, but my map shows it's marked for parking.

Is that the street going to Mars and there are lakes on both sides. One is sky lake? If that is the place then I know where your talking about. Thanks for the info!

Easy Fishing

Given your handicap ;) ... I'd say the best place is off the side of the Sauble River just downstream from the falls, either on the south side in the Sauble Falls Provincial Park, or farther down by the marina (or anywhere along the way) -- I see lots of successful fishing with small children happening around there.

Also, on the Wiarton/Oliphant road there is a brand new bridge just East of the Women's Institute (it must have a name, there's a historical plaque nearby!) The road crews were busy all spring putting that in and it's now a nice foot-traffic spot (blocked by boulders) with a fair amount of parking and easy access, even with a cast :)

Best Fishing with Your Kids

I was wondering how the fishing has been in the area lately? I'm planning a trip up there June 29th-July 5th. Also does anyone have any easy accessible fishing spots? I'm traveling with my family and we have a 2 1/2 year old and my husband has a cast on his right foot. Looking for any ideas. Thanks!!
