Hang on to your hats: I don't know if seen the trailers for The Day After Tomorrow, but Environment Canada says this is just the beginning ...

bq. A tornado that struck southwestern Ontario over the weekend may have been the strongest to hit the province in eight years, and Environment Canada officials are warning that there could be more violent weather this season.

The soggy May 2-4

A little wet? According to the Toronto Star report, it may have been a bit damp here in the dunes, but at least we were spared the twister that hit near Stratford ...

"It's unreal. We've never seen rain like this before," said Brad Casemore, owner of the North Sauble Sands Campground, where yesterday morning hundreds of wet campers squeezed muddy water from their sleeping bags while standing in knee-deep water that had flooded their campsites.

undeterred, they say the campers just sang bathtub songs and bought a lot of dry socks.
