http://sbp.teledyn.com/node/204 Comments for "The Secret is in the Sludge" en http://sbp.teledyn.com/node/204 <p>After dozens of dead loons and cormorants, many more dead fish and even a couple of dead deer showed up on the beach of Lake Huron outside Kincardine, a citizen's request for information about spills at Bruce Nuclear were turned down, a <a title="Toxic waste spills at the nuclear plant?" href="http://www.canada.com/ottawa/ottawacitizen/blog/story.html?id=1a509678-bdb8-46dc-9590-efa64fe50169">bit of media proding by the Ottawa Citizen</a> eventually turned up a box of documents, only what went <em>unsaid</em> turned out to be rather curious:</p> <blockquote><p>One might have thought that water pollution was a topic of public interest. The nuke plant is in Bruce County -- same area as Walkerton. Maybe Ontario's environment ministry thinks otherwise.</p> <p>Among the topics blanked out: spills of ordinary sewage.</p> <p>The reason for keeping this secret has to win a prize for dopiness.
